The Rubix Cube Master.

My oldest daughter has wowed us once again this winter break by conquering 2 different Rubix Cube puzzles!  Both times I swear she started floating as if she was some kind of wizard. Her technique you ask........well she just kept randomly scrambling up the cube.  It worked....twice!

Merry Christmas.......yesterday.

 Christmas 2018 was one to remember, actually I do not remember it at all because all four of my kids and I were layed out on the floor sicker than dogs!  We often raced to the bathroom when we could muster enough strength to get off the floor.  So we celebrated today....it was the best day after Christmas ever.

He’s coming!

I might have watched Star Wars today.......and found time to doodle. Rare.  While I was watching I was wondering and hoping that Vader took joy rides in his TIE fighter on Saturdays.  Take time to enjoy all things!

Happy Birthday Josh Smash.

My little brother had a birthday today.  He is the brother that would always remind me of the Hulk.  Watch out when he would get mad. Usually things would end in a hug though!  Hugs on your birthday Josh. 

Chef Boyardee.

Chef Boiardi had such great sauce that he opened his own restaurant.  He then changed his name to “Boyardee” so that Americans could pronounce it.  The U.S. military commissioned the company during WW1 to supply army rations.  For some reason I was intrigued enough to doodle the chef.  His likeness is still seen on the cans at the grocery store. 

Granny is ready for Christmas.

My Granny Jane and her broken arm are ready for Christmas. She chose red for her cast because of the upcoming holiday. Way to keep the Christmas spirit!

This doodle is for my number one fan!  He is a master physicist. He notices whenever I add or delete a post. Now that is a dedicated fan:). He is my go to guy when I have a physics problem.....which is pretty much never. But he is my number one physicist anyway.......have a good week Thad!

Mega million dollar cup of coffee.

I thought that maybe I would wake up this morning and have a billion dollar cup of coffee.......but no.  I did buy one of those Mega Million lottery tickets though, jackpot was up to a billion dollars...cannot win if you do not try.  I had an awesome day regardless. 

BRING ON YEAR SIX.

Five years without dad have past.  Bring on year six!  I love how he lives on in so many different ways.  This is just another tribute to the man many call......The Bibleman. I always just kind of called him dad. 

Another daughter all caught up.

Over the summer my middle-ish daughter and I would wake up in our pjs and watch one of the Star Wars episodes in our basement. She is now finally all caught up with the story. It is weird to think she knows just as much as me now when it comes to the Star Wars story. 

Willy the Wildcat.

I have been a Westside Wildcat for 15 plus years!  So I doodled Willy......our mascot.  

The best fortune cookie fortune.

Here is to a great school year!  Time to go back to art teacherin....that is what a I call it now.  This was what my last fortune cookie said.  This one was so awesome that I shall not crack open another fortune cookie......ever. Sometimes it is good to be content. 

The ear infection.

My eardrum bursted a tad and then gave me an ear infection......totally bothers me.  So of course, what do I do.....I doodled it. It doesn’t have me down and out however.  Played soccer and biked with the kids yesterday.  Sometimes, maybe all the time, you need to just keep on keeping on. Even when you are half deaf;)

Water slide.

I just found out that my wife likes to scream while going down water slides.  So of course I threw down a doodle about it! Noah’s Ark was a fun time.

Aretha Franklin.

Aretha Franklin.....also known as the Queen of Soul!  She will be missed. 

The unicorn.

At WCYC I learned what actually happened to the unicorns.......Noah’s son Japheth ate them before the flood hit. He was a hungry fella.  At least that is one theory of why we do not see unicorns around. They didn’t quite make it on the Ark. 

Happy Birthday dad (aka...The Bibleman).

Today my dad would have been 67. This is just one of those dates that always sticks in my mind.  I know the Bibleman is loving his walk in the Heavens today......or maybe it is a strut;). Either way, he is in an awesome place. 

Captain Kane.

To me the winner of World Cup Russia’s second round is England’s Harry Kane. It is hard to beat a guy who scores a hat trick. I sure am enjoying my month of watching soccer......futbol.

World Cup player of round one.

So I have been watching more than my share of the World Cup 2018 so far.  And so I doodled my choice for best player of round one.  Ronaldo....duh.

The Red Blur.

I was thinking about faith a tad this week and how so many things seem blurry when you are not given a concrete answer.  Kind of like when The Flash zooms by you and all you see is a red blur, he is there, you just kind of question it. Thanks Preacher Brent for putting that thought in my head all week:)

Robins.

I saw tons of huge plump robins today on this sunny Sunday afternoon. I am pretty sure they are about to multiply.......wish I could multiply:).  I got a lot of stuff to take care of this week, I could use another me.

So my dog Beanert and I went for a lovely jog in the sleet and snow yesterday and found peace at the edge of the woods. There was like a million robins on the branches singing to us. I love how peace can form out of nowhere. 

Meet Lightning.

Lightning is a fast lil dude.....when he has his suit on. Otherwise he is just a short little kid who thinks he is fast. Sometimes thinking you are something and actually being that something are two different things. 

Spring Soccer.

Spring soccer???...you mean WINTER soccer?  We cancel one more game I might snap:)

Time to wolf up.

Soccer season is now on for my whole family, myself and my four daughters all had practice tonight at the same time.  That is a whole lot of running around!  Time to be like Teenwolf and wolf up! That’s another way of saying time to bring our “A” game.

Morning stalkers.

Lately in the morning I have been enjoying looking out my window in the morning while sipping my coffee....until I notice every light post has a bird on it staring back at me.  I think they are either morning doves or some kind of pigeon. Either way I feel a tad bit violated. 

The Nintendo Guy.

Tad the Nintendo guy was over at our house tonight sharing fun with my girls and I.....he is proof you CAN have fun on a Monday night!  Thanks Tad, now known to my daughters as Uncle Tad. 

Snow day!

Tad bit of snow today.......just barely enough to cancel school!  My girls will take it and run with it:)

The Catwoman......meow!

Catwoman is interesting because she often does wrong for the greater good.......and I think Batman digs that kind of villain. Plus, bat and cat rhyme. 

Wah wah says The Penguin.

The Penguin would have been a good guy if he wasn’t teased so much when he was a kid.....be kind to others this week. It might help what the future holds.

The Joker.

The thing I love about the Joker is that he is always having a good time.....even if Batman is kicking his booty. “Make the most of whatever” is a good motto to have. 

Riddle me this.

I hope you find answers to all of life’s riddles this week!  Sometimes you can look at life as problem solving. Just don’t forget that riddles are fun:)

Slothy.

It was a great MLK Jr. Day. Sledding with the kids and hot chocolate was the highlight. Now I am tired and feeling sloth like.....too bad MLK Jr. Day is not tomorrow as well:)
