"MO"vember.

Even Jabba the hut had someone managing his money for him.....this is his accountant, of course sporting a stache.  Who knew.

Extra hands would be awesome....just like this droid.  I need one of these in my art room.

Pello Scrambas is one of the first guys onto the scene in Star Wars. Unfortunately he was really unlucky because right off the bat he had to face a bunch of storm troopers and Lord Vader.  He really didn't have much of a chance.

Happy "MO"vember.

It is November (I mean MOvember) again.  Which means a daily sketch of a manly Star Wars guy with a mustache during the month of November.  I do this for men's health awareness month.  This is my third year doing it.  FYI, I also do not shave this month.  It will be tricky to come up with another 30.  

Adventure.

Talk about adventure....Star Wars is getting closer.  So I doodled BB-8. I currently have no clue who this droid is but I am almost positive it is going to go on an adventure.

Enter year three of my dad passing away.  Hard to believe he has been gone for two years now.  So I doodled this one tonight.  

I Bat inked again.

I guess it is Inktober instead of October so I accidentally inked another Batman.  

Costume.

It's that time of year where you start seeing costumes around, this could be a portrait of me, you never know...or, it's a doodle of you.......that's the beauty of a costume.

I love mermaids.

Even if mermaids were real I am pretty sure they would not last long.

Bat-ink.

Oops, I inked Batman. 

Villain.

I doodled this villain using the Zen Brush 2 app.  Simple ink app that makes you have to deal with your mistakes.....kind of like life I suppose.

Old I feel.

My wife and I agree that we are getting old.  I wake up with a crick in the neck every morning and she has an injured hamstring that just won't heal.....this never used to happen daily.  So, of course I sketch the oldest thing I can think of.....Yoda.

DoNUT.

My twin daughters just got their kindergarten shots today.  Around my house we celebrate bravery with donuts!  Never be afraid to celebrate.

People.

As a teacher I had my first day back at it today and a common theme that was talked about was having a good relationship with people.  Optimus Prime was brought up because sometimes when you teach you have to transform in many ways in order to reach our young people.  You can't always just stay in your box and think things will just happen......that's why transformers transform right?  To save the world........

Alright, it's time for soccer again.

Soccer is back on for the Fall.......so since this is a sketch blog.....I doodled this on the iPad.  My four daughters will be playing all on Saturdays and I am not real sure how we are going to manage this.

Reach for the stars.

Sometimes I wish I was a wizard.....because then it would be a lot easier to reach for the stars.  Wouldn't you like to just say "poof" and there it is.  But then it would be less work and you wouldn't get as much out of it.....so maybe I don't want to be a wizard.

It would have been my dads birthday today if he was still around these parts.....I am sure birthday cake tastes better up in Heaven anyway!  I love my dad and our Lord.

Jim Bridger.

We just got back from our Montana trip.  The cabin we stayed at was in Bridger, named after Jim Bridger of course.  You know, the fur trader that helped bridge the gap between the Cowboys and Indians while hunting and blazing trails in the 1800's?  Yeah, that Jim Bridger.

I really enjoyed this guy during my lifetime!  So I sketched this right after he signed off for the last time.  10 minute doodle.

A quick sketch of Orko.  He was the character from He-man that was suppose to bring comic relief.  I never thought he was that funny....at all.  A triangle shaped floating ghost gobblin guy just isn't that funny.
