So I was reading how Dwayne Wade (basketball) might sign with Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavs. Then I started to remember in High School that I always thought if I could be 6 '7 I would go to the NBA and maybe play for Cleveland (because they always stunk when I was growing up)(and Cleveland is my last name).  I only need four more inches........time is ticking though because I am 41 years old.  So I doodled an insta tall potion.  What if....

My wonderful wife turned forty today!  So.....I sketched her the way I see her.........as my hero. She does more than you can ever imagine!  All in the name of love!!!:).

This little light of mine.  When we were attacked on 9/11 I was starting my first teaching job in Oak Creek Wisconsin. It was such a surreal morning that most of us will never forget. On that day I wished everyone would just simply choose love. I always say a little prayer for those that were lost on that day. Today, I chose to doodle and pray:)

Recipe.

So I had a hard time opening finger nail polish this past weekend for my lovely daughters. So, of course, I designed a more muscle potion.  I did not feel very manly.....now I do:)

Junior Camp 2017 is in the books.

Junior Camp 2017 has now come and gone. Here is this year's doodle I did for it. Camp is a wonderful place!  Little tired however:)

Poseidon's Rage.

This past week my family headed out to see a little Greek Mythology culture over at Mt. Olympus water and theme park. The greatest thing there was a HUGE wave pool called "Poseidon's Rage". The wave can, will, and did knock our suits off. It was totally fun for the family, but I am warning you.....it may cause nudity:)

Happy Birthday Bibleman.

Happy Birthday to my dad.  Would have been 65 today.  Bibleman is what he went by when I was a kid.  He could travel in time via a time machine and visit the Bible times. Wish I could travel back in time sometimes.....:)

Lieutenant Love.

Lt. Love is a character that spreads love to all situations. I made him up myself. Oddly enough he looks like Jesus.....:) Which is pretty fitting because we all know Jesus is the King of Love right?!

Sprout.

Spinach is great! It is a sprout that can be healthy and give you strength throughout you day and week. Why not eat it everyday then?  Well......it just does not taste that good (unless you put it on pizza, then it is AWESOME). I am not real sure how Popeye does it....fresh from the can.

My super hero pal....Falcon, has a birthday today. Every year I doodle out an illustration of his bad superhero self. Happy Birthday Rob!  I am proud to call you my brother.

Adam West has passed onto the great Bat Cave in the sky on Saturday. He was the first Batman I ever knew. Thanks Mr. West for not being afraid to put on those tights:) This doodle is for you. 

Monday morning coffee.

Even superheroes need a little coffee on Mondays.  This was a long Monday.  I can tell because I currently cannot get off the couch:)

Spring break has arrived for this year.....so of course I sketched the General Lee. 

Here we go again.

Soccer season is upon us once again.  I have kids playing pretty much every day of the week!  Also, I am throwing in there my coaching gig with the High School team:) Just to make it a little more exciting and crazy. I doodled this one on the little iPhone.

Adventure.

Raising kiddos is an adventure. We are constantly busy running four kids here and there and everywhere. Then there are those times where it slows down and you feel like you can simply take a  walk.....until you have to jog and eventually run again. So I sketched out the king of adventure while I found some down time. 

Hokusai.

A few weeks ago I taught my Art classes about the Japanese artist known as Hokusai. I got the students to observe the "Great Wave...." by drawing their own version using crayon.  This was my version I did.
